Wellness Walks

Wellness Walks
Covid 19 has brought about many restrictions in our lives but thankfully Group Health Walks are exempt from the restrictions on social gatherings.  Many people are missing the social interaction they gain from congregation, hobby clubs and societies they regularly attend.

Wellness Walks is a health walking group which aims to meet every Tues at 10am till 22nd Dec.  There are walks for all abilities including those with mobility difficulties.  Each week has a different grade & we are practicing Safe Distancing throughout our walks.  You don’t have to commit to all the walks, but please note there are limited numbers so please do get in touch with project leader Lynda Beveridge on   beveridge.lynda@yahoo.co.uk  or Mobile: 07498387343 to book or gain further information.

Think Health Think Nature is one of four initiatives in Scotland stemming from “Our Natural Health Service” which aims to show how Scotland’s natural environment is a resource that can be used to help tackle some key health issues.  LCDC secured funding from The Green Health project to run a Group Health Walk scheme within the Lochcarron catchment area.  This Green Health Project has been made possible through funding provided by EU Leader and the Rural Development Fund.
