We’re looking for someone to work for 2 or 3 weekends before the end of March to organise and coordinate volunteers to build a Rustic Shelter/ teaching space in Kirkton woodland. Formation of permanent vehicular access, ‘Bellmouth Junction’ 
Planning permission has been granted for the formation of a vehicular road access onto the A896. From Land North of the School house, lochcarron.
In the short term the access will allow timber to be extracted from the kirkton woodland to the north. In the longer term the access will open up the area for mixed development purposes, including the proposed leisure centre facility. KWHG Directors and the Local Development Officer have been working behind the scenes for many years to negotiate with all the various landowners, and interested parties to secure and agreement for access. The successful application for planning permission is a very important step forward towards community led sustainable developments which will benefit the whole area.
The Roof of the Building to the West has been covered and felted. The KWHG directors decided on names for the buildings for purposes of the tenancy’s and postal addresses this week.
More work on the flooring and bases of the buildings.
